2 tsp poultry seasoning

6 to 7 slices of bread(torn into pieces) (Brand: OroWeat Country White Bread)

1 1/2 to 2 cups chicken stock

2 spicy sausage, chopped/diced (Brand: EverGood Louisiana brand hot link sausage-smoked)

optional: mushrooms, rosemary, basil, bacon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Sautee with oil/butter in a pan the sausage. Cook until done. Take out of pan and put into a large bowl. Sautee half the onions, the celery, apples, nuts. Pour into the large bowl. Add in the half of uncooked onions. Add the bread, cornbread and seasonings. Mix.

Add in the egg and enough chicken stock so that it is damp but not very mushy and place in a lightly greased dish and bake for 20-60 minutes. If needed, add extra chicken stock half way through cooking if seems too dry (and mix thoroughly).
